Marathon Kids In Schools – Term Time Trackers
Marathon Kids in schools is a free schools-based running and activity programme designed to get more kids moving, earning rewards on their way to becoming healthier and happier.
The programme is overseen by Samantha Young who has been with Marathon Kids for over six years after leaving a hugely successful career in events management.
Led by an army of enthusiastic teachers and volunteers, children are encouraged to complete as many laps of a course or track, as they build towards that epic achievement of running 42.2km, the distance of a full marathon.
At the end of each academic year, Marathon Kids hosts a special Festival of Running day, where schools are invited to come and compete, showing how much progress their pupils have made.
