Warm-up games, relay races, and a 20-minute endurance lap challenge are all fun activities featured at our events.

At Marathon Kids UK we encourage children and their families to participate in this one hour long event.

It’s completely free and suitable for children of all ages and abilities!

Leicester (Knighton) Marathon Kids UK meet in the park on the grass coming from the cark off Palmerston Way, follow the path until you are past the wooded area

Car parking is available at the Palmerston Way entrance, but the best way to reach the park is on foot, by bus or bicycle via the national cycle network routes 6, 63 and 77

The MARATHON KIDS UK app is a great way for families to run together and reach marathon distances over several running sessions.

Is your child running Marathon Kids UK at their school? If so, make sure to register for the app using the same email that was added to the schools DTS (Digital Tracking System). You will then be able to connect to your child’s profile on their schools DTS which will enable you to see what they run in and out of school.
