CARL’S LOCK NESS MARATHON

It has been a while since we updated you on Carl’s Marathon of Marathon’s challenge.

Well, since running his Medley Marathon back in August Carl has done a race walking marathon and most recently he ran in the Loch Ness Marathon, October 2.

Carl really is putting himself to the test. Not only is he running his Marathon of Marathons challenge for us this year, but he also has a full time job and a family of four kids. Time and energy levels are really stretched, but as you can see from the image above Carl always has a smile on his face and always smashes his goal.

The Loch Ness Marathon saw Carl run with a Loch Ness Monster hobby horse and bubble machine, Carl likes to make his marathons fun for everyone not just himself.

We are so grateful to Carl for his time and efforts to raise awareness of our charity and the work we do, to raise some much needed funding so that we can continue to reach more children across the UK and inspire them to be more physically active through our Marathon Kids UK programme.

To help Carl reach his £10,000 target for us by the end of this year please donate to his fundraiser. He really is putting his body under pressure with each of the marathons he does.

All funds raised by Carl will go directly into our programme and enable us to bring Marathon Kids UK to more children across the country and continue the fight against the rise in childhood obesity and poor mental health.
